Dr Marianna Szabó Clinical Psychologist

Dr Marianna Szabó is an experienced clinical psychologist practicing in Sydney. She is available for consultations in person and online.

Dr Szabó's primary areas of expertise are anxiety, depression and stress-related difficulties, including insomnia, chronic pain, unresolved grief, and a history of trauma. She has a special interest in helping people with long-term life patterns that can lead to unsatisfying personal relationships, problematic family functioning, or professional burnout. Many people with such patterns have high achievements in some areas of life, yet their psychological well-being or physical health is negatively affected.

Dr Szabó is a highly trained and experienced practitioner using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness based approaches to treatment.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Szabo has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney for 20 years.
